Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies

The Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies builds on the associate degree by deepening biblical knowledge and expanding general education. In line with the institutional objectives, students will advance in Christian leadership, critical thinking, and cultural humility while preparing for ministry, professional service, or graduate study. 

Upon completion of this degree program, students will:  

  1. Critique constructs of Christian leadership throughout history (Institutional Objective 1).

  2. Appraise advanced constructs of Biblical Studies through exploration of all genres of the Bible (Institutional Objective 3, 4).

  3. Synthesize beliefs with sources of evidence to communicate/defend solutions (Institutional Objective 1, 2, 3, 4, 7).

  4. Integrate advanced constructs of general education studies (Institutional Objective 5).

Students pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies must complete the Associate of Arts program and then fulfill the required courses listed below. Students seeking a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies may fulfill their elective courses with any upper-level (3000/4000 level) course offering.
