Institutional Objectives

Jimmy Swaggart Bible College strives to live out its mission statement daily through its operations, student experiences, and curricula. The core concepts from within our mission statement are the driving force behind our institutional objectives. The intention of linking these core concepts throughout our mission, institutional objectives, and programs is to promote consistency and focus throughout all the functions of the institution. 

 Christian Leaders 

A Christian Leader is equipped to serve, inspire, and influence the church and local community by modelling Christ-like character and a commitment to advancing the Kingdom through the utilization of biblical principles. 

Objective 1: 

JSBC will provide students with the opportunity to develop into Christian Leaders who are prepared to transition into post-education careers or graduate pathways.  

Pentecostal 

The emphasis of the baptism with the Holy Spirit as initially evidenced by speaking with other tongues, which gives the believer power for service. 

Objective 2:  JSBC will foster a vibrant spiritual atmosphere that encourages students to experience the Baptism with the Holy Spirit, emphasizing prayer, worship, and the gifts of the Spirit as central to spiritual formation.  

Biblically based 

A foundation firmly rooted in Scripture, where all teachings, decisions, and practices align with Biblical truth.  

Objective: 3: JSBC will provide students with an academic environment to develop a biblical worldview.   

Community 

A group of people creating a supportive environment of common values, collaboration, fellowship, and mutual respect which contributes to personal and spiritual growth.  

Objective 4: JSBC will build a community of respect and service to others.  

Academic Excellence 

The expectation of pursuing high standards of teaching and education through a learning environment which promotes the development of problem solving, critical thinking, and the practical application of acquired knowledge and skill sets.   

Objective 5:  JSBC will practice high standards of faculty instruction through a teaching environment which promotes the development of problem solving, critical thinking, and the practical application of acquired knowledge and skill sets.   

Objective 6: JSBC will practice high standards of student education through a learning environment which promotes the development of problem solving, critical thinking, and the practical application of acquired knowledge and skill sets.  

World Evangelism 

Proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all nations, making disciples, and fulfilling the Great Commission through every available means.  

Objective 7: JSBC will equip students with practical tools and skills for evangelism.
